Meet Sadie!

Want a puppy who already comes with her foundational training? Sadie is a 5-month-old, 20-pound bundle of sweetness who’s ready for her fresh start. She comes from a litter of eight puppies who were discarded on a rural backroad, but despite that tough beginning, this little girl’s gentle spirit shines through. Sadie is a dainty, tender-hearted pup who may start off a little reserved, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into the most loving companion.

She spent time in an intensive training program with Retrieving Independence (a Nashville-based nonprofit that trains service dogs in a prison-based training program), where she started learning foundational skills like housebreaking, crate training, leash manners, socialization, basic cues and more. She has been continuing this training in her foster home and is ready to transition these skills to her forever home!

With her soft nature and growing confidence, Sadie is dreaming of a forever family who will give her the love and guidance she deserves and, most importantly, her first ever home! If you’re ready to open your heart, Sadie is ready to fill it with gentle joy.
