Amy is Agape’s Adoption Coordinator. Amy was born in Virginia Beach, VA and raised in Gaithersburg, MD. She attended Coastal Carolina University where she graduated with a Bachelors in Marketing. Amy has worked in the staffing industry for 15 years and manages the division for finance and accounting professionals at the staffing company she currently works for. Amy’s passion for rescue stems from her life long love of animals. From growing up in a home with many animals to her first job at 15 working at a Doggy Day Care and extensive background volunteering and fostering for various rescues, Amy’s involvement with rescue has evolved from a hobby to an endearing passion.
Currently Amy has 6 rescues whom she provides a loving home for. She has three rescue dogs, Maggie (Mini Aussie 6 years old), Etta (Pug 3 years) and our most recent Agape foster fail Gilroy (6 pug mix) and 3 cats, Cole, William and Lucy – all rescues.
As Adoption Coordinator, Amy is an advocate for dogs by placing them in their perfect forever home and educates the community on responsible pet ownership.
