Marissa is an Associate Wealth Advisor at Kraft Asset Management, LLC. She has 10+ years of experience in the wealth management industry, where she landed shortly after graduating from Robert Morris University near her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science as well as a minor in Applied Mathematics, which evidences her love for all things numbers.
Marissa learned of Agape Animal Rescue through her friend and colleague, Kara Allen, who also serves on Agape’s Board. Her love for dogs began at a young age and grew exponentially as the years went on. What started as one adoption led to another adoption…which eventually turned into a personal rescue mission of sorts. She and her mother continued to foster many shelter dogs until their forever home was found (more than a handful may have joined their family because…foster fails are inevitable, right?).
In late 2017, Marissa relocated to Nashville to join her fiancé. Although she is no longer “the girl with all the dogs,” she is mother to her sweet adopted cattle dog, Barley. Barley loves walking with mom every morning, going fishing with dad, chewing an unlimited number of sticks, and most of all playfully herding his older brother Poncho (the cat of the house).
Marissa hopes her involvement with Agape can help take her childhood quest of rescuing dogs herself personally to a much larger scale with Agape, and make a bigger impact in the lives of dogs and families in our area.
Marissa serves on Agape’s Board of Directors and volunteers her time on the Finance Committee.
