Kelsey Fernandez, KPA CTP
Kelsey is Agape’s Intake Coordinator and Dog Trainer. Kelsey was born and raised in Covington, Georgia where her passion for animals began. Kelsey grew up riding horses, going to wildlife camp, and was always the kid bringing stray animals home. Kelsey is a graduate from the University of Georgia where she earned both a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Masters in Nonprofit Management and Leadership. She recently became a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner.
Kelsey lives with her husband Eryk and black lab, Francis. When she is not training dogs, Kelsey enjoys playing volleyball, reading, binge watch Netflix, running, and hiking – usually with the accompaniment of both her husband and Francis. Kelsey’s goal through her work in animal rescue is to educate the community on responsible pet ownership. Kelsey moved to Nashville to dive into the thriving nonprofit sector and she is thrilled to combine her knowledge and experience with non-profit organizations and dog training as Agape’s Intake Coordinator and Dog Trainer.
