Katelyn Burkhart Baker is a lifelong animal lover. Currently she has only one dog child, Biscuit, because she and her husband are focused on their human child, Blythe. Katelyn is the Director of Information Protection & Security Communications at HCA Healthcare. She leads a team to educate and inspire 280,000 colleagues to protect the company’s patients, people, systems, and facilities. After growing up in Ohio, she moved to Nashville to work at HCA Healthcare, then relocated and spent a year in Denver, Colorado, followed by two in Seattle, Washington. She returned to Nashville and HCA Healthcare in 2015.
Katelyn earned her undergraduate degree from Ohio University’s Scripps College of Journalism and her MBA from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. She is a Girl Scouts troop leader, Red Cross blood donor, and a regular volunteer for Book’em and Planned Parenthood.
