I am Blue – not sad, but a beautiful blue bear of a dog!  Someone said I am 9 years old, but age doesn’t matter to me.  I’m a healthy, happy, mature mixed breed, all around good boy!

My foster says I walk gingerly on the leash, so I try to add bit of a hop in my step once in a while (exploring the neighborhood is one of my favorite things to do).  I mostly like to relax and play calmly and I enjoy being outdoors too!  A few of my favorite things: stuffy toys, balls, chewing bones and being able to rest my head on your lap a few times a day if you work from home.  OH – I LOVE being brushed and learning new things! My foster says I am a natural student and feel accomplished when I perfect a new skill.

I’ve met dogs I enjoy and do my best to be a great communicator but have not always been treated well by other dogs or had all perfect interactions if it starts too quickly. (Who can claim that?) I also seem to really like men but some teenagers used to treat me poorly so I’ll always benefit from slow, appropriate introductions.

I’ve had a lifetime of experiences throughout my years and most haven’t been easy (I was even afraid of sitting on the couch when I met my foster). The couch has since won me over and reminds me of the plush comforters and soft beds I love so much that line my crate – in which I also enjoy spending quiet time.
