Kelsey is Agape’s Intake Coordinator and Dog Trainer. Kelsey was born and raised in Covington, Georgia where her passion for animals began. Kelsey grew up riding horses, going to wildlife camp, and was always the kid bringing stray animals home. She began training dogs at the age of 10 and trained through high school and college. She is currently pursuing her professional dog training certification. Kelsey is a graduate from the University of Georgia where she earned both a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Nonprofit Management and Leadership.
Kelsey recently got married to her husband Eryk and they have one fur child, who is a black lab, named Francis. When she is not training dogs, Kelsey enjoys playing volleyball, reading, binge watch Netflix, running and hiking – usually with the accompaniment of both her Husband and Francis. Kelsey’s goal through her work in animal rescue is to educate the community on responsible pet ownership. Kelsey moved to Nashville to dive into the thriving nonprofit sector. She is thrilled to combine her knowledge and experience with Non-profit organizations and dog training as Agape’s Intake Coordinator and Dog Trainer.
